I hand knit this warm, wool beanie because I love to hand knit hats and working with 100 percent wool is a lot of fun.

I bought my 100 percent wool at a local family owned craft and yarn store in Maine.

I use the technique of knitting with double strands of yarn to make the hat thicker but not heavier by using lager sized needles.
