I created this heart necklace, pastel and antique gold, with a swirl charm to have the appearance of an open locket. I used sheets of liquid polymer clay that I cured with paint, ink, metal leaf, and glitter to form a dimensional veneer. The veneer was applied to a polymer clay base to create a frame and window for the charm which I also created out of polymer clay. I used gold and bronze pigment powders to create an antique sheen on the swirl charm before placing it in the window of the necklace.

I embellished the frame with tiny copper colored microbeads. The entire surface was carefully coated with glossy and durable jewelers grade resin.

The piece is finished with a handmade gunmetal wire bale. The back is lightly textured and initialed.

This lovely and dramatic pendant is full of rich and shimmery color. The pendant measures about 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" at the widest areas.
The pendant will come with a 17 inch gunmetal chain with a lobster clasp and three inch extender. If you would like a different length chain, just let me know in the "notes to seller" section.
