Captivating paintbrush jasper stones have a taupe background with splotches of burgundy red, pink and brown colors. The focal is a large brushed copper round with antique copper bead caps on each side. Inbetween the larger jasper stones are genuine garnet rondelles. Inbetween the smaller stones are copper daisy spacers. To add additional interest I have added two brushed copper six sided beads on each side of the necklace. The necklace is finished off with brushed copper ovals and a beautifully made antique copper leaf toggle closure. The toggle closure is produced by TierraCast.

Paintbrush jasper is also known as artistic jasper, crazy horse stone and landscape stone. No matter what name is used each bead is unique unto itself. The splotches of color are artistically arranged by Mother Nature. These stones are totally natural with no enhancements. It is a perfect pairing with the brushed copper and the garnets help to enhance the deep rich burgundy color in the stones.

This stone is said to be a nurturing stone with the ability help one see within. It is also said to be a harmony stone.

Garnet can bring out the more gentle and understanding side out of the any being no matter of age, background or beliefs. It is a stone that reminds of the beauty within, of how this beauty can then be recognized all around in surrounding life.
