I have been spellbound by metalwork lately. Some with stones, some with my glass, and some with old/vintage findings. This ring is one that combines silver with one of those brass findings.

I can picture this sandwiched between two stacker rings, maybe in copper...I love mixed metals! The ring was made using a thick, round sterling silver wire that has been textured on the top of the band. Patina has been applied to accent the texture and smooth brass oval.
