This unusual necklace is a delight to wear. The pendant is an intricately carved, interestingly shaped piece of redish- brown Soo Chow Jade that measures about 2 1/4 inches by 2 1/4 inches. It has a gold metallic bail that attaches it to the chain.



Instead of a heavy, harsh metal chain, I crocheted a chain from a wonderful faux suede yarn. It's very soft, lighter than actual suede would be, and is a lovely deep reddish tan color. This chain is adjustable and ties gracefully in a bow at the back of the neck.



The total length of the suede chain is 15 1/2 inches from end to pendant. This allows you lots of variety in the length you choose to wear - from choker to a long necklace. The suede can also be washed if needed so the necklace will last a lifetime.



You're really going to get a lot of compliments on this one! It may very well become your favorite necklace. It would make a lovely present and comes gift wrapped in a lovely jewelry box tied with satin ribbon.
