This unique lampwork bead was made by winding glass onto an actual bobbin. The intense heat of the torch also blackens the metal of the bobbin, which is a great look. It has dots of blue with a fun effect decorating the surface. :-). A wonderful addition to a European charm bracelet, beaded rope or simply strung onto cord or chain.

PLEASE NOTE: My lampwork beads are lovingly made by me in my studio in NY. I am a proud member of Self Representing Artists (SRA # A13). I generally use 3/32" mandrels unless otherwise noted. The beads go directly from flame into my digitally controlled kiln where they are annealed overnight for strength and longevity. The holes are thoroughly cleaned of bead release before being sent on their merry way.
