It's printed on heavyweight high-quality glossy photographic paper and is sealed in a crystal clear envelope. The print comes unmatted and is ready for framing in an 8x10 mat opening. REGARDING HIGH-GLOSS PHOTO PAPER: I think the high-gloss photo paper best shows off the bright, happy colors in my paintings. However, if you prefer watercolor paper instead, I will be happy to do your print on watercolor paper. Just drop me a note at time of purchase and I'll make the change.

SHIPPING: The print is protected by two sheets of cardboard for safe shipping and is shipped by USPS First Class mail within the United States and by International First Class outside the United States. We ship Tuesday through Friday.

This is a commissioned painting I finished recently of a rottweiler, "Porter," whose family love, love, love Mount Hood - and Porter, too, of course! This painting was a real pleasure to paint for a couple of reasons: Number one, he's a handsome boy. Number two, there's a "landscape" in the background! I've been dying to try my hand at doing some landscapes, so this commission provided the perfect opportunity. I think it came out quite well - and my clients were happy, too! Keep an eye out in the not-to-distant future for some more landscapes - probably without a dog in the foreground, though.
