This is a bichon frise (sometimes erroneously spelled bichon frisee) dog art painting, which I painted, using photos submitted by a customer. The print is 12x15" on 13x16" glossy photo paper white borders. The original acrylic painting features the bichon, sweetly looking up at the viewer, as many dogs know how to do so well, with a red and yellow rug in the background. The overall color scheme in this painting is bright and cheerful, and the bichon is painted softly to emphasize the softness of the hair.

In addition to my signature in the painting, I have signed the print in the lower border of the print.

Bichon frise dogs are great companion dogs. They have a happy, fun-loving temperament and love their human family members, including children, but they do demand a lot of attention. They are quite popular in the United States as well as nearly everywhere else in the world, especially Europe.

As a pet art artist, this painting was a pleasure to do, and I really liked adding in the bright background, which I feel complemented the bright white and blue/violet shadows in the dog's hair. Hope you like it.
