In crimson red, sunny yellow and teal green, the vintage motel sign in this 11x14 art photograph has spent decades beckoning Route 66 travellers to its warm beds for a night's rest with bright neon buzzing and flickering over the Mother Road. This classic motel sign has been well-loved over the years, and only has a few spots of light rust barely marring the red paint that rests behind the neon.

In bright and cheery colours, this photo of a piece of Americana and reminder of the great fun road trips could be makes a great addition to any home, office, or auto shop...or even a vintage motel office on Route 66. ;)

I took this photograph of Springfield, Missouri's Rest Haven Motel's fantastic neon sign during my jaunt along Route 66 in April of 2010. We only got to Oklahoma, but plan to get back out on the Mother Road again as soon as we can!
