This is a Rune Reading cloth which is embroidered by hand on cotton drill. It is backed with fabric and the runes used are the Elder Futhark.

When ordering please choose fabric and thread colour from the following:-

* White Cotton Drill Rune Reading Cloth
Black Runes, Dark Green Runes, Light Green Runes, Purple Runes, or Red Runes
* Black Cotton Drill Rune Reading Cloth
Light Green Runes, Purple Runes, Red Runes, or White Runes
* Blue Cotton Drill Rune Reading Cloth
Black Runes, Light Green Runes, Red Runes, or White Runes
* Bottle Green Cotton Drill Rune Reading Cloth
Black Runes, Light Green Runes, Red Runes, or White Runes
* Red Cotton Drill Rune Reading Cloth
Black Runes, Dark Green Runes, Light Green Runes, White Runes

The backing fabric is white for the white Rune Reading cloth, all the other cloths have a black backing fabric.

This cloth is 18 inch /45.72 cm x 18 inch/45.72 cm square.

I was asked a while ago by a rune reader to create a cloth for them, and this is it. The latest colour option with purple runes was made initially for another rune reader who expressed a preference for this variation.

One side of this cloth has been left blank so that the reader can face that side and work into the middle of the cloth.

Although it may not seem so from the second photograph, the cloth is square.
