These Venetian glass earrings celebrate the centuries old glass making tradition in Venice and the nearby island of Murano, Italy. Orange and purple Swarovski glass crystals echo the colors of the swirls in the Venetian glass beads.

Inspiration/Story Behind This Product

When I ordered these beads from the artist, they arrived with a small card printed with a map of central Venice, showing where the artist's studio is located. She originally moved to Venice to study glass making, then met her husband there and stayed in this city that is steeped in glass work traditions.
