Sonora Sunrise Cabochon Pendant on Sterling Silver Necklace. This necklace has a sterling silver wire wrapped Sonora Sunrise oval cabochon. Sonora Sunrise is a stone found in Mexico which is made up of a combination of reddish-brown Cuprite and blue-green Chrysocolla. It is an absolute gorgeous combination further set off by the sterling silver wire wrap and figaro chain. The necklace is securely fastened with a lobster claw clasp.

Cuprite is said to provide a grounding effect on the body and raise one's physical vitality and energy. It has also been used to alleviate worries, particularly worries over situations in which one has no control.

Chrysocolla can give the wearer renewed strength and balance in times of heartache. It can also aid in self expression, creativity and communication.

The stone is approximately 1.75in (4cm) tall by about 1in (2.5cm) wide. The chain is 16.5in (42cm).

This beautiful stone cabochon was the inspiration for this necklace. Perfectly oval shaped and just the right size to draw attention to itself, yet not overpower the rest of your outfit. It is an excellent choice for your fall wardrobe, yet it can be worn with many colors and styles.

The earthy Cuprite accented by the light Chrysocolla is such a beautiful combination which required very little embellishment. I simply secured it with the sterling silver wire with an added accent swirl.
