This happy panda bear sits peacefully with his bamboo on a base of art and dichroic fused glass. This pendant glimmers and shines blue sparkles through the image and on the layered base glass of shades of green. The screen print image of the panda and bamboo has been fused into the glass and is permanent. A silver plated bail tops off the pendant.

The pendant was made by layering shades of green and blue dichroic glass over a light green base and slowly kiln firing and cooling multiple times. I then cut it to size and shaped the pendant into a classic cameo oval shape. One more trip into the kiln to polish the edges and seal the image and the pendant was complete.

The pendant measures about 1.75in (4.5cm) from top to bottom and 1.25in (3.2cm) across. I will include an 18in (45cm) cord at no additional cost so you can wear it immediately. In addition, the pendant will fit on most chains.

Pandas are such beautiful creatures. I was able to see a few at the Atlanta zoo on a recent visit. Very playful yet plainly powerful animals. I could have watched them interact all day.
