Celtic Cross Fused Glass Pendant Wire Wrapped Necklace. Shades of blue and white art glass create the background of this pendant featuring a lovely celtic cross design. This pendant was created by hand in my home studio. I layered tiny bits of dark, cobalt and sky blue with white glass to and fused them together to create the base of the pendant. After fusing, I cut and shaped the pendant into a badge or shield shape. I added the screen printed enamel decal of the celtic knot cross so that it appeared to be floating through the sky. Finally I wire wrapped the piece with sterling silver wire to frame the pendant and create the bail.

The pendant measures 1.75in (4.4cm) from top to bottom and 1.5in (3.8cm) across the widest point. The necklace is completed with an 18in (45cm) silver plated rope chain.

This pendant has an ethereal feel with the blues and whites of the heavens and the white silver celtic knotted cross floating through your prayers.
