Tuxedo Cat on Fence Post Fused Art Glass Pendant Wire Wrapped Necklace. A little black and white cat sits on top of a copper colored fence post looking out over the its domain.

This whimsical glass pendant was created by hand in my studio. I first took tiny bits of glass in shades of blue and white and, after layering, mixing and moving them around to create an abstract pattern of shadow and light, fused them together into one piece. Next I cut and shaped the pendant into this long triangular shape and polished it. I then added an enamel screen print image of the cat silhouette on a post and then hand painted the image to give it character and a unique style. Finally I wire wrapped the sides of the pendant with sterling silver wire to frame the art and complete the bail.

This pendant measures 2in (5cm) from top to bottom and .5in (1.2cm) across the widest point. It comes with an 18in (45cm) silver plated rope chain to complete the necklace.

We all know cats rule the universe - or at least they would like us to think so. This one appears to be overlooking its minions in the distance. Or perhaps it just wants us to think that....
