Christmas Decoration Unusual Recycled Can Snowcannys Seasonal Winter.
What a terrific way to show support of recycled items.This is snowcanny,he is made of a recycled soup can,cleaned and sterlized.I made a base for him by molding clay around the bottom of the can and baking it,I fashioned little feet for him also.I painted the can white and added metallic stars to his front.A neck scarf from scraps of fabric,arms out of large popcicle sticks painted black and sign out of small popcicle sticks painted creme.His head is made out of cotton batting,hat is made out of felt with cotton balls on each end.His smile is a red pipe cleaner ,nose painted plastic,and eyes are little black disks.Arms are glued on and the sign is glued to his arm,if one should fall off a dab of glue to reattach is all thats needed. His sign says
Check out this can. There are 10 in all,each with a different sign.
Inspiration/Story Behind This Product
I had a mix of scrap fabric,clay,and a few odds and ends so I put these together to create an unusual decoration.
