one of a kind glass bunny ringtop in a mixture of browns on a red base with red tail and footpads.

based on my popular silver cored bunny bead design, I've made theses unique little characters as ring tops! no two will ever be the same as they are individually sculpted in hot glass.

I make these ringtops one by one in my devon studio, they are annealed in my digitally controlled kiln.

whats a ring top?
a genius idea! you have a base unit (pendant, ring, earring, cufflink etc) which has a screw thread on it, and you add a topper which is made of glass with the corresponding nut embedded in it.

Created by Sabine at little castle designs, the alcazar system allows you to have all kinds of colours, shapes and styles in glass, but you only have to buy one base.

Actually, I'll change that, because Sabine has shared with others how to do it, the best thing is that with artisans who make vastly different designs styles and colours of beads, you will have neverending choice for your jewellery! You can wear a tiny (or not that tiny in my case!) piece of art on your finger, and change it as often as you like!

I'll just mention, there are a couple of similar systems around, but do be careful, some of them have different thread sizes and so won't all be compatible with eachother. this has a 2.5mm thread

yes, its made of glass, it can break if treated very roughly, but I've been wearing mine without any problems.
