A gorgeous black agate druzy (crystal formations) sits within a hand forged sterling silver bezel with tudor style surround. This is a very classic, simple and elegant piece.

It is approximately 1 1/4" long and 3/4" at it's widest point. It is strung on a black extra thick (approx. 3/8") wide silicon cord with solid sterling silver lobster clasp that is 18" long. The bail has been hand cut and soldered on for optimum security. The finish is brushed to compliment the druzy semi-precious stone.

Agates belong to the group of micro-crystalline quartz. They are classified as semi precious stones, since due to their complex internal microscopic structure, there are practically no gem-quality specimens. These mystical stones are believed to promote the skill of oral presentation and public speaking. There is no doubt that they are truly and genuinely stones of the planet Earth. No other mineral seems to be so intimately connected with the earth element as they are.

According to the esoteric science and wisdom, agates are entities originating from within the crust of our planet, unlike many other stones whose archetypes have been conceived on the other planets of our Solar System. Thus, it is no surprise that the intuition of the ancient Eastern civilization and the other great peoples of the past has recognized the excellent grounding and protective function of these stones.
