I created this bracelet from the 2013 BFAC (Beading For A Cure) kit and everyone liked it so much I was asked to write a tutorial for it. The base of the bracelet is Pondo Stitch done with Super Duo beads, hence "PonDuo" and seed beads. The accent beads, druks, fire polish rounds, crystals and teardrops, give this a very rich texture. This is a very under-used stitch in my opinion as I find it to be both pretty and versatile. My 16 page, fully illustrated, step-by-step instructions make learning the stitch a breeze.
The finished bracelet measures 2" wide and can be made any length desired.
The clasp is made using snaps.

The tutorial comes in PDF format.

This tutorial is RTS and grants the purchaser permission to sell items made from it...with credit given to the designer (me) of course.

The PDF file will be e-mailed to you within 24 hours of confirmed payment.

Inspiration/Story Behind This Product

Pondo Stitch. I saw this stitch mentioned on a blog and it was one I had never heard of so I went off to research it. Also known as African Circle stitch, I discovered it really wasn't being used much and it's such a pretty and versatile stitch that I immediately started designing with it. The possibility of using a two hole bead like a Super Duo or a Twin jumped out at me and PonDuo Stitch was created. PonDuo Tapestry is just one of the Pondo Stitch designs I've come up with, look for more in my store shortly.
