French and Victorian beaded Roses in shades of Yellow are combined with elegant green leaves to create a lovely corsage sized floral brooch. With a slight alteration of an 18th century craft I've designed a floral corsage that measures 4 3/4 inches in length and approximately 3 inches wide. Closure is a pin/brooch clasp on reverse side of the design! A one of a kind and original composition of wearable art.

I was doing research for Paris Yellow Roses in preparation for creating an original design for a client and went through several phases of coloration and shading experimentation during the research phase of this project. These shaded yellow roses were a result of some of that experimentation and have a wonderful essence of sunshine. Some of the tiny beads are translucent and transfer light through the petals. Some are opaque but bright and throw light. It was a major exercise in play of light and color shading!
