Lots of care and love went into making this lovely little birdhouse pendant. This one has a tall classic shape and an thatched-style intricately woven roof -- precious!

I used a time intensive process drawing out the pattern by hand, cutting, filing, texturing, punching, shaping, and wire-wrapping the copper sheet metal birdhouse. I then wove a patterned roof of copper and bronze wires, and carefully shaped and wire-wrapped it to the birdhouse. To bring out the detail and individual character, I oxidize, polish and tumble the pendant to a beautiful glossy finish. No two are ever alike and each has its own special personality.

measurements: about 2 1/2" tall (counting the bail) X 1 3/8" wide X 5/8" deep. The bail has a nice wide opening (nearly 3/8 of an inch) to accomodate your cord, chain, or ribbon.
