NATIVE AMERICAN BOYS RIBBON SHIRT: WOODLAND DEER Size 8



This is a new ribbon shirt and is made from 100% cotton. The ribbons are polyester and measure 1/4" in width. Each shirt I make is a one-of-a-kind. No two are identical. I do not mass produce anything I create. I design regalia for dancers on the powwow trail, as well as for those who attend these events. This shirt was made in the traditional way. It was only worked upon when it was time to create it.



I have been sewing and making other items for over 45 years. I also have designed and hand sewed stage clothing for Will Millar while he was still preforming with the Irish Rovers.



This shirt has white tail deer on it for a design. The deer are very realistic looking. The background is mostly shades of green in a forest setting, with a pond area hidden in the woods. Ribbon colors are: Kelley green, dark chocolate brown and bright spring green and are 1/4" in width. The sleeves have three rows of ribbons, as do the front and back of the shirt with a total of four sets of streamers with three rows of ribbons each that measure 14" long.



This shirt is made of 100% pre-shrunk cotton. Seams are serged and double stitched. Ribbons are stitched on both sides to prevent curling. The ribbon length has been left longer and can be cut shorter if you prefer. I have heard the longer the ribbons, the more the person wearing the shirt is loved. All items come unsmudged, in accordance to my teachings. This shirt comes from a smokeless environment. This is a: Made in Michigan, USA Product.
