The resurgence of sling carriers is a good thing all around. Your baby is close and warm and secure cuddled up to their favorite person, and parents aren't suffering back pains from carrying their child in a car seat!

When I see them at work though, the fabric bunching at the base of neck looks really uncomfortable to me. I see moms and dads readjust, readjust - pulling it away from their neck. Hmmm.... I got an idea.

I took the shoulder area of the sling and pleated it into a 7" wide yoke. And it works! My daughter and her son give it a big thumbs up. No more adjusting - it stays put. It measures 21" at the bottom and has curved flat felled seam to keep little bottoms comfortable too.

For versatility, I made it reversible as well. Two looks, two happy campers. All the edges are beautifully finished. No raw edges to be found. And sturdy enough to pass down to another lucky baby or more.

100% cotton fabric. Throw it in the washer and dryer. This is built to last.
