Blue Kyanite Artisan Earrings Sterling Silver Wire Wrapped

Cornflower blue Kyanite, almost the color of fine sapphire, is wrapped in sterling silver wire and suspended from a hammered sterling disc. The stones have a lustrous high polish that is stunning. These earrings showcase the smooth pear shaped Kyanite beads to perfection, allowing them to swing playfully, catching the light and showing off its ability to change from silvery blue to sapphire blue.

I hammered the silver discs and rubbed them by hand to a subtle, muted polish, adding a earthy, organic look to these earrings.

Kyanite = 8x10mm (4.5mm thick)
Silver disc = 9.5mm OD
