Pale, misty sea foam green sea glass from the North East Coast of England provide a delightful resting place for tiny sterling silver turtles in this pair of handmade artisan earrings. The beach glass is 100% natural, having been tumbled by the sand and sea, and has a lightly frosted surface. It's translucent, and in certain light, it takes on a wonderful glow. These pieces are quite thick (approximately 5mm), which seems to be typical of genuine sea glass from England,

The little turtles are cast in sterling silver, and swing from the same handmade link that holds the glass. They have a bright polish, with dark antiquing to bring out the detail in their faces, shell, and cute little feet. These earrings are fun and playful, and will be at home on the beach as well as the office or club. Fun, summery, and unique, you'll enjoy the attention these pretty little baubles will bring.

They are very lightweight, and will be easy and comfortable to wear.

All metal is sterling silver.

* Hang approx. 1.5" (3.8cm) from top of handmade sterling earwires
* Glass = approx. 12.5mmx15.8mm (.5"x.62") (each piece is a slightly different shape and size)

Measurements might vary slightly but these are very, very close!
