Blue is often used to ward off the Evil Eye (negative energy that attacks at random). If you seem to be having a run of bad luck and nobody is actively trying to jinx you, this is a common manifestation of the Evil Eye.

Azure blue is also used for peace spells, to help with reconciliation, to bring about emotional and physical healing, and to help support a truce or treaty.

You can also use blue just because you like the color and it feels right.

Traditionally this is worn pinned inside a bra or waistband, or carried in a pocket. The contents are determined by the user or "fixed" by a rootworker, depending on the belief system of the user.
