The abstract patterns and ruddy earth colors of "Artistic stone" (a type of jasper) oval twist beads are perfectly complemented with hand forged copper links and wire in this bracelet. The natural stone jasper beads are 18mm (about ¾") long and 13mm (about ½") wide and have an organic wave shape. They are finished to a semi-gloss sheen. The bracelet features three artistic stone beads of very different coloration between the three: from rusty wine to chocolate brown, to spotted tan and grey. Three black agate pebble beads and two hand forged copper wire links ground the design. The bracelet measures just slightly under 7" and so is for a slightly smaller than average women's wrist. It is terminated with a handcrafted copper hook and eye closure that echoes the style of the links I made for this piece.

This bracelet will be sure to draw comments on casual Fridays at the office, but has what it takes for everyday wear.

The copper has been polished to a bright finish and waxed, however, it is expected to age to a rich brown color. To keep it shiny, copper can be polished with a jewelry cloth intended for silver. It can also be gently cleaned and brightened by using something acidic like lemon juice or even tomato ketchup applied with a Q-tip, allowed to work for a few minutes, then rinsed and dry buffed.
