Beautiful rosy pink rhodonite cabochon with black veining is set in a 1960's vintage pin setting. The setting is a white base metal or German silver with lovely yellow/green gold and rose gold plated flower accents. The Brooch setting and the cabochon is from my Dad's lapidary hobby supplies (which he actively pursued in the 1960's and early 1970's). However, the setting might be older since his father was also a lapidary hobbyist. I have a pin in this same setting that my grandfather made for my mother.

I selected the cabochon and set it into the old setting. I like the rose pink of the rhodonite gemstone with the flowers on the setting.

This is a sweet pin, just 1-inch wide by 3/4-inch tall. A very pretty, dainty something old.
