Vintage 1983 Kay Nielsen French Fairy Tale Lithographs From In Powder and Crinoline For Minon Minette

A luscious paper featuring two wonderful and wonderfully romantic illustrations from Kay Nielsen, gleaned from a damaged 1983 reference on children's book illustrators.

Both gorgeous prints are from the same classic French faerie tale, 'Minon-Minette', and the originals of both were included in the 1913 edition of Sir Arthur Quiller-Couch book, 'In Powder and Crinoline'. The captions read ~

~ "Ah, Princess! - Surely you are not running away from me"

and

~ Princess Diaphanie walking the garden

Either side is wondrously frame-worthy ~ no doubt your most difficult decision. The 2-sided paper is nicely heavy and measures 8.25" x 11" (21x28 cm). There are no tears, folds, creases, or marks ~ altogether a gorgeous page.
