Antique 1873 Victorian Engraving "Chalk and Pencil Drawing", Featuring Penmanship, Fine Handwriting, Printer Flourishings

From an 1873 Victorian business guide, one gorgeous engraving in black and white featuring 'Chalk and Pencil Drawing' ... a paper which clearly demonstrates why I would never have made it in business back in 1873, if writing and flourishes like these was required.

This was a well loved ... and a well-used ... book ~ the pages are gently tanned, creating that antique black/sepia look so often sought in papers.

The engraving is clear and bright and the hand writing and flourishes ... well, the lettering, drawings, and flourishes are simply remarkable.

The black-and-white engraving with richly black and the white showing tanning. The protective tissue remains but has come detached from the engraving. The paper is clear and smooth and the edges fhow pings and bumps and the corners have gently softened. Nothing which matting and framing won't remedy.

The heavy paper is blank on its reverse, measures 8.25" x 10.5" (21 x 27 cm), and there are no marks, folds, creases, or tears on the paper. Beautiful to frame, fantastic for your art ~ this is a gorgeous paper!

You are purchasing an original 1873 paper and it does not have watermarks. I'll send this to you flat, protected, and by USPS 1st Class mail.
