Two charming Miska Petersham images, gleaned from a 1925 collection of Japanese children's poems, folk tales, and fairy tales.

This is a two sided paper ~ with a sweet poem on each side ~ Petersham's illustrations are delightfully bright, sweet, and gentle.

An ideal subject to frame for your little one's room ... or perhaps these will find their way into your art - beautiful for your card and tag creations, for your scrap book page making, collage or decoupage.

Petersham's work is charmingly simple and remains absolutely timeless. The heavy paper measures 8" x 10.875" (20x28 cm) and is smooth and clean, showing little tanning. The lithography is strong and clear, the edges are nicely smooth, and the colors are sweet and bright. There are no tears, marks or creases on the paper.
