Mooi is a river yeti, who was born in the mountains of Nepal. He has decided he wants to see the world so he has come down from the mountains and is now looking for a friend to go on adventures with. He is a happy little soul, that loves to see new things and go to strange and unusual places. He is a good travelling companion, because he is always calm in a crisis, loves to give hugs to make his friends feel better on days when things maybe go a bit off the plan, he is happy to travel by any means available and most importantly he never complains or asks "Are we nearly there yet?"

He is 29.5 cm (11.5 inches) tall and 23 cm (9 inches) wide (including arms down at his side). He is knitted in multi blue, aqua and green acrylic yarn, so is totally hand washable, but doesn't like to be wrung or spun dry as that makes him feel a bit ill. He is filled with polyester fibres that conform to the BS5852-2 fire retardancy standard. His eyes are black safety eyes set on a jade felt face panel.

I would not recommend Mooi for any child under the age of 36 months.

When I was travelling, as a child, I always like to take a soft toy from home with me, as it made me happy to have a friend coming along, and it also meant when my older brothers and sister were fed up with entertaining me in the car, I had someone else I could show the sights to, so I made Mooi to be someone travel companion. I thought it would be nice if he had come from some far away land to be with the child as then you and your child can make up stories about the adventures he had already been on and research all about his country of birth.
