Shriek is so nicknamed because he is always screaming, jumping out of his skin and generally over reacting to everything. He is nervous in the extreme. He fears his shadow sneaking up on him. He worries that the breeze in the trees is a coming hurricane. His cowardice knows no bounds.

I think if he was lavished with a lot of love and homed somewhere that gave him a sense of security he would be less fearful. Can you offer him such a home?

Shriek measures 25cm (9.75 inches) from the tip of his toes to the top of his up reached hands. He is 16.5 cm (6.5 inches) wide. He has security black eyes set on purple felt irises. His skin is made of dark maroon pure wool. His mouth is felted onto his body. He is filled with Polyester Fibres that conform to the fire retardancy standard BS5852-2.

In every story I ever read as a child the monsters were meant to be scary and frighten us, but I thought, well what if it were the other way around and the monsters were scared of us. After all Humans can be very scary and destructive so why wouldn't wee monsters be scared of us, clearing their forests, eating all their food and killing off all their friends? So this is the monster that thought inspired.
