This slouchy tam hat was designed for everyday wear, by either sex, any age and to suit even people with wool allergies. It is crochet from acrylic yarn in black with thin widely spaced white stripes. The length of the hat means it is quite roomy inside for plenty of hair, so if you have a head full of dreads or long flowing locks you should be able to get them all inside.

The hat measures 57 cm (22.5 inches) around the brim and 36cm (14 inches) in length when laid flat.

Machine washable a 30 C on a gentle wool cycle. Dry flat away from direct heat. Do not iron.
