Pretty medium sized spring coloured grocery string bag, perfect for fresh fruit and vegetable shopping. It is made from beautiful strong yellow and green self patterning cotton yarn. In the photograph it contains 6 apples and 2 bananas and still has room for a lot more.

With the impact that all the plastic we use is having on the environment, it is time we all switched back to using reusable bags, such as wicker baskets and fabric totes. A string bag, such as this one, is light and fold down small enough to fit in your pocket, so you can take it with you everywhere you go, just in case whilst you are out you are tempted to shop. You will never need to use a plastic carrier bag ever again.

The bag has 2 strong wide handles that measure 15.5 cm (6 inches). The main part of the bag measures 31cm (12.25inches) by 26 cm (10 inches) when laid flat.

Machine washable 30 C.

The fruit does not come with the bag.

I am very keen to reduce the amount of plastic I use and have made myself many of this style of bag to use when grocery shopping. When people started to ask me where I got them I decided it was time to start making them and selling them to encourage more people to stop using plastic.
