A beautiful patterned granny square blanket, perfect for keeping the chill off those little Pirate Pixies when they are napping in their pushchairs or hammocks. Also great for spreading on the ground in the park for them to sit and play on. The granny squares are crochet in bright green hard wearing acrylic yarn and are connected together with crochet strips of 2 different colours. The strips that go across the blanket are purple and the strips that run up and down the blanket are a patterned speckle of blues purples and greens.

This crocheted blanket measures 57 cm (22.5 inches) square and is made from 100% acrylic yarn, so is hard wearing, and suitable for children with wool allergies.

Machine washable 40 C. Air Dry. Do not Iron.

This blanket would work equally well as a pet blanket, as it is a great size for putting over chair seats to help keep them pet fluff free. So once your baby grows up, your puppy or kitty can inherit it.

PLEASE NOTE Shamus the Sheep does not come with this blanket. He just kindly sat for the photos. He would love to come and visit you, but Captain Skulduggery Dug keeps him so busy, he just doesn't have the time.

When my nieces and nephews were small I remember that I spent a lot of time pulling their blankest out of the wheels of their pushchairs or up off the floor where they were trailing. So I designed these blankets to be small and compact to be used in pushchairs and when out and about. They are big enough to cover your baby, but not hang down.
