Dragonfly embroidered passport case, handmade using dark brown and aqua.

Carry your passport and other travel essentials in style. This handmade case features dragonfly embroidery on one side and lots of pockets to hold just what you want on vacation without a lot of bulk.

Small enough to hide underneath your clothing or coat for security, this case was designed to have a short neck strap to ensure it stays hidden and close to the body. It is also very functional. There are a total of 5 pockets - one central one and two on each side. The smallest pockets are the perfect size for holding coins, credit cards, or hotel keycards. The larger side pockets are big enough for a passport, while the central pocket closes with a hook and loop closure and can fit a camera, cell phone, or pair of sunglasses. There is also a jump ring on the side which you can use as a keyring.

The fabric used to construct the case uses several rich shades of brown and tan with blue aqua accents. It has been embroidered with a stylized dragonfly in dark brown for additional interest and a personal touch. The pockets have been lined in an aqua fabric with chocolate brown swirl details. The lining fabric is also used as an accent detail at the top edge of each pocket on the outside of the case. Light lining fabric ensures that items will not be difficult to see or find when searching the pockets.

Each embroidered passport holder is made by hand. Small variations may occur due to the handmade nature of the product. Listing is for one passport case.

I selected the fabric for the case because I loved the botanically-themed fabric: it is based on a botanically correct drawing of a lilac bush! Heirloom lilacs have one of the most memorable scents of late spring and early summer garden plants, and they were often incorporated into gardens in times past just for their scent. Perhaps you'll see some if you visit an heirloom landscape or botanical garden on your next vacation.
