These sweet dangle earrings feature deep purple cloisonne round beads and fine silver-plated bird beads. Little tanzanite AB Swarovski crystals border the main beads, giving this pretty pair some lovely sparkle.

The bird beads are from TierraCast and made in the U.S.A. They are nicely detailed and quite magical! Silver-plated daisy spacers are also added to the top and bottom of the cloisonne rounds, and I tucked in clear glass seed beads directly above the birds and at the top of the crystals to give the crystals more visibility.

The wires for these earrings are non-tarnish silver plate, with a wrap at the top. The ear hooks are sterling silver, with the sterling mark on the rear part of the hooks. Clear earnuts (aka stoppers) are also provided, to keep these dangles more secure on your ears.

Months ago, I saw these cloisonne beads in a little bead shop in Providence. I immediately bought them, but waited for the right time to use them. The moment I saw the bird beads was also the moment that I knew the time to use the cloisonne beads had come!

I made this pair in memory of my mother, who adored bird charms and bird jewelry, and who was passionate about the color purple. I thus think of them as "birds of memory" earrings. They represent recollections of maternal love, which is very special indeed. :)
