These lovely handmade beaded earrings feature decorative ceramic and green leaf glass beads as well as reddish carnelian rounds. The ceramic beads have a cream background on which appears a stylistic floral design, with a saying in Kanji on the rear portion of the beads. The design and script look handpainted. TierraCast daisy spacers (made in the USA) were added at either end of the decorative ceramics and between the richly hued carnelian rounds and glass leaf beads below them. The latter are sweet complements in both form and color, and they give the overall look of the earrings a nice distinction! A handmade wire wrap was also added to the top of the dangles.

The French style hooks are 22K gold-plated and come with clear earnuts (aka stoppers) to help keep this pretty pair more secure on your ears. The length for these earrings is around 2 inches including the ear hooks. For a picture that includes a ruler for measurement, please see my photos.

There is a nice aura of peace to the ceramic beads used for these dangles. I bought them singularly in a bead shop and have tried to find a translation for the kanji online, but to no avail. I did notice the same saying on the rear portion of some Japanese vase beads, but no translation was provided. So there is also a little mystery to these earrings. :) They remind me of the serene nature of Japanese gardens, and I think of them as contemplation earrings.

In general, these are a very sweet and pretty pair of handmade beaded dangle earrings!
