Product Description

The name "pansy" is from the French word "pensée", meaning thought or remembrance. No wonder the Victorians loved them so much, besides

their smart little "faces" of course. The three pansies here were taken in 2007 and 2008 by me, Christine Bennett, all from my own garden.

The inside of the card is white and blank for you to write your own heartfelt thoughts of thanks to a special person or for a special occasion. The words "Purple Pony Art" do not appear on the finished product.

The image is printed on glossy HP cardstock with OEM HP Vivera inks. Envelopes included. Card measures 4.x25"x5.5".

Inspiration/Story Behind This Product

I sit on a mountain of pansy photos - time to do something with them! I carefully silhouetted their little faces and after testing different colours and compositions, liked this one the best.
