This little mini quilt measures 15 inches across and 17 inches down. Ten happy, lively stars give movement to the quilt and you can almost see them dancing.

The fabrics in the quilt are bright with lots of reds and golds. There are many fruit prints used along with busy bees in the corner squares. The stars have been appliqued with fusible web and then they were machine buttonhole stitched for durability. The stars were cut from different fruit and flower fabrics. There is a cherry star, a strawberry,a tomato, etc.

I quilted this quilt by machine around each star, in between the squares and a bit of stippling in the blue and green squares. I channel quilted the borders.

A hanging sleeve was sewn to the back which allows the owner to use a small dowel for better support when hanging the quilt.

Cute on the wall or even on a table.
