Handy pot holder in green and white patchwork and trimmed in yellow has a pocket either for your hand or to hold paper you don't want to lose.
I have used a heat resistant batting and one other layer of cotton for the interior of this hot pad. You can stick you hand inside to pull things from the oven OR you can hang it up and tuck things inside the pocket so you can keep track of them easier.
