Mother of Pearl Earrings with vintage Art Deco Style is absolutely luminous and because they are clip on anyone can wear them. These vintage dangle earrings are glowing with iridescent shades of shell pink, peach, ivory and taupe. When reflecting the light they shimmer with flashes of green, gold and fuchsia. The color is amazing. I believe them to be circa 1940.


These vintage earrings are a traditional Art Deco sunburst design with lines radiating into rounded scallops creating a fan like shape. The top halves of the earrings feature this design with the point towards the bottom, while the reverse is seen on the bottom half which dangles below resembles an open fan. The colors vary also with the top half of the earring being mostly taupe and ivory and the bottom fan shapes all shades of pink pearl. The color also varies with lighting, most of my pictures are in natural light but the images taken indoors show the earring with more of a golden hue. They are made from real mother of pearl and the beauty, shimmer and natural iridescence found in nature is absolutely stunning.


These vintage earrings are from a moving/estate sale and family members say that the ear cushions may have been added by her mother's jeweler for comfort as she never had her ears pierced and had this done with many of her favorite earrings.


The Art deco earrings are approximately 2" in length, 3/4" in width at it's widest point on the top of the earring and 5/8" at the widest point on the bottom half of these vintage earrings, the back of the earrings are more white/ivory pearl in color and the findings are all silver tone and have small white cushion pads in the center hole of each clip.


Wear these vintage Art Deco style earrings with summer whites or pastels for a perfect complement. You will find the colors complement your complexion just as pearls do.

I wish you could see these vintage earrings in person; the colors are so opalescent and varied with a shimmery pink and taupe glow. So hard to capture the real beauty in a photo, but I try. The Mother of Pearl earrings are light weight and feel so smooth to the touch.
