Avon Baby Bassett Hound in Dark Amber Glass Bottle for Topaze Cologne was once displayed in a dog lover's cologne collection. This adorable vintage Baby Bassett hound by Avon has long droopy ears and a soulful expression, as if he is earnestly waiting for a new home. Baby Bassett is wearing a studded collar.

This collectible Avon cologne bottle once held Topaze cologne and the scent is still present when you open the bottle. The bassett hound puppy has a glass body with matching head that fits snugly over the white plastic cap. The basset hounds head is actually made of plastic but it matches so well with the dark amber glass it is hard to tell the difference. Although the Topaze cologne is long gone this Avon collectible is in excellent condition with the original Avon Label on the bottom.

This Basset hound puppy will be a nice addition to your Avon collection, or for any one who loves Bassett hounds or dogs and appreciates vintage. He will be right at home in any room of your house, on a book shelf in the family room, a windowsill in the kitchen, or part of a vignette in a guestroom sitting atop some stacked books on a bedside table.

This little Avon Puppy is approximately 3 inches tall and about 3 inches in length from nose to tail. Baby Basset will make a perfect pet!

This little Avon Bassett Hound was found at an estate sale where the pervious owner had quite the collection. I was fortunate to find some delightful Avon collectibles. I was told that the owner did have dogs most of her life, but it is was not known if she ever had a basset hound, I like to imagine she did and that was one of the reasons she had this Baby Bassett in her Avon collection.
