This tie tack is a nickel color with a soft satin or brushed finish. It is in excellent condition, you can se the detail in the Macro close up photo. This tie tack is approximately ¼" with the back attached it is about ¾" in length. The width is about 3/8" wide. Create your own Mad Men style with this great mid century design! This is such a versatile little tie tack, simple in design but loaded with style. I discovered this tie tack in a box of what looked like the contents of a gentleman's accessories valet. It was amongst some other jewelry items as well as old keys, matches and even a couple of marbles. I wonder about the previous owner. Maybe this tie tack was one of their favorite accessories too.
