Vintage Pyrex Baking Dish in Chrome Manning Bowman Art Deco Holder is perfect for an elegant dinner party. The lovely open cut design on this stylish Art Deco baking dish holder makes a bold statement. Very 1930's glam!
The glass Pyrex baking dish has decorative scalloped side handle grips and was made between 1926-1939. It fits snugly into the shiny silver Art Deco casserole holder made by Manning Bowman, aka. MB Means Best!


The Pyrex glass baking dish has a couple of long scratches visible in the base of the dish, which you can see in the last Photo. It does not detract from the overall use and attractiveness; it is in very good condition considering it is approximately 80 or more years old! Soon this will be an antique! The MB Art Deco holder is in excellent condition, bright & shiny!

The Pyrex baking dish is marked with T.M. Reg. ® Pyrex, U.S. Pat. Off. -on the bottom and the handle has the marking 023 -OR-623 which signifies that this is an open baking dish, and also may be sold with a cover, if the number 623 had been first. The Art Deco holder is marked, MB Means Best in small box with Trademark, Manning-Bowman, & Co., Meriden, Conn., Made in USA. This baking dish is approximately 1.5 quarts. It is about 3 5/8" tall and about 11 inches wide from chrome handle to handle, and about 3 inches deep.

This is a perfect example of functional beauty! This baking dish has been making dinnertime special for more than half a century! I have to admit this is another of those items that I really had a hard time letting go, I wanted to keep it for my self when I found it! I think it would be a lovely Wedding shower gift for a bride who loves vintage!
