Vintage Mid century wall art, complete set of 4 Mardi Gras Jesters on wood tone diamond shaped plaques from Turner Manufacturing Company. Each plaque has a single jester dressed for Carnival` or Mardi Gras, they all are wearing costumes in shades of aqua, orange, cream and burnished gold on a mellow walnut wood molded resin.

Each plaque is hand painted and they are the quintessential Mid Century retro art for your MCM home. They would be a wonderful gift for a wedding or Christmas. Or simply add some funky retro art to your own walls. Group them in a row or staggered, the options are for you to decide. It is quite rare to find the complete set of four.

They are in excellent vintage condition, just a couple of very minor scratches which could be covered with wood tone stain. The colors are perfect to compliment today's design trends and are as popular now as they were circa 1950's. They would be fabulous in a dinning room.

Each vintage faux wood plaque is approximately 21 inches tall and 7 inches wide and about .75 inches thick. All four plaques are marked A 842 and signed Turner Manufacturing Co. Two have the original paper tag stating that they are guaranteed hand colored. There is a ring hanger attached to the backs so you are all set to decorate.

This kind of wall art can be a conversation piece, meaning it will get people talking. I think it would look great in a mid century modern home. But I think I would like it even better in a home that is eclectic in its design style, a bit bohemian, with some elegance and sparkle too.
