A vision in blue, green and brass!! This unique piece is distinctive and dramatic! The colors are carefully hand-painted onto black lace, then augmented with a gorgeous peacock brooch mounted in the center as the focal point. Sprayed around the edges are beautifully reflective rhinestones that catch the light as the wearer moves!

3.5" deep black lace is pleated onto a black 5/8" organdy ribbon with aglets at each end to prevent fraying (like shoe laces or corset lacing). The length of each ribbon tie is long enough to allow the piece to be worn as a necklace if tied looser, a choker if tied tightly, or even as a jabot under a shirt collar.

The peacock centerpiece doubles as a removable brooch. It comes hand-sewn on, but can easily be removed and worn separately.

The piece is obviously Steampunk in nature, but has a contemporary flair as well. It could easily dress up a t-shirt and jeans, go nicely with an elegant dress, or substitute for a bow tie or scarf at the office!
