This charming piece of elegant costuming is perfect for those masquerades and costume parties where refined attire is required. It's a changeable silk taffeta ruff in the style of Pierrot the Clown.

Gathered onto a simple gold sheer 5/8" organdy ribbon, the ruff measures 7.5" wide. It is made to fit a 12.5" neck, but because it ties in the back it can be worn by any size neck. It is sprinkled with small topaz Swarovski rhinestones that gently catch the light.

The silk itself is soft tangerine golden orange, with a contrasting thread of very light teal blue. This creates a reflective sheen that is rich and artistic. It's soft quality drapes over the shoulders and frames the face.

Each end of the organdy ribbon is finished off with a gold aglet (similar to shoe laces or corset lacing) to prevent fraying.
