Fused glass earrings featuring a pink swirl patterned dichroic glass on a black base.

The glass is approximately 3/8" x 1/2" (1 cm x 1.3 cm). They dangle approximately 1 1/8" (2.9 cm) from sterling silver ear wires.

These earrings were created by precisely cutting and assembling multiple pieces of fusible glass. The glass is then "fused" together by firing in a kiln to approximately 1500 degrees. Next, a diamond bit grinder is used to shape the edges and it goes back into the kiln for a final "fire polishing". Finally, a specialty two part adhesive is used to securely attach the glass to the earring back.
